CREATING CIRCULAR BREAD AND EGG SUPPLY CHAINS

Bakkersgrondstof is making sourdough out of returned bread from bakeries. Our phylosophy is that companies who are delivering byproducts to Bakkersgrondstof are getting these byproducts back as raw materials so the delivering company can earn money with their byproducts. For example: Not all byproducts from the bakery can be turned into sourdough, this stream of returned bread is delivered to a chicken farmer. The eggs which are produced with the delivered bread are going back to the bakery.

We are always looking for opportunities for suppliers of byproduct to earn money out of this flow. These examples are all about existing products for existing markets, it is also possible to create new product-markt-combinations with byproducts, Bakkersgrondstof is also developing new products. For example Kvas, a fermented low-alcoholic, drink based on returned bread and sourdough.

Bakkersgrondstof is helping the company to create new product-markt-combinations. We started in the bakery sector, but we can do this for all food en feed processing companies.
