SKOV - DOL 339 climate and production computer - flexible climate regulation and production control for poultry production

The DOL 339 software and hardware are designed on a modular principle and the computer can optimize the climate for the animals in all climatic zones by letting the regulation principle be dependent on the climatic conditions.

The regulation principle LPV is applied in temperate regions, the Tunnel principle in the tropical regions and the Combi-Tunnel principle in the subtropical parts of the world.

The DOL 339 computer ensures optimum conditions for the animals by letting the ventilation depend on the temperature, humidity and the age of the animals.

Optimized climatic regulation
The regulation principles of the DOL 339 computer have recently been improved even further by means of two new regulation principles.

Advanced Comfort is a new feature optimising the temperature set point in relation to the age of the animals and heating energy index in relation to the temperature, humidity and ventilation level in the livestock house.

Furthermore, the DOL 339 computer optimizes the correlation between the humidity of the house and the temperature regulation. The method is based on heating and ventilation as the crucial regulation parameters but the result is a much softer and smoother climatic regulation. The present climate is thus currently being optimised by using the collected historical data.

Production functionality
Furthermore, the DOL 339 includes a production module capable of handling all basic functions in poultry production.

Feed weighing can now be carried out by the SKOV DOL 99B feed weigher which is known for its high accuracy.

The outline menu in the computer display has been optimised so relevant key figures for feed conversion (FCR) are immediately accessible. In submenus, it is possible to read other efficiency parameters which are calculated based on production, feed and water consumption.

Likewise, the DOL 339 computer can now be used for separate outlet feeding in connection with parent stock and it renders separate feed supply to males and females possible.
