Institut de Sélection Animale (ISA) is the layer breeding division of Hendrix Genetics. We deliver Grand Parent Stock (GPS) and Parent Stock (PS) to the worldwide layer industry, from operational centers on four continents.
Thanks to the excellent quality of our genetic program, we have a variety of products available, fitting the needs of both egg producers and consumers. We are proud that around 50% of world egg production comes from the layers bred by our company.

Our team
The ISA team consists of highly qualified and motivated individuals with expertise in research, genetics, technical service, veterinary science, management and marketing.
Hendrix Genetics acquires Integra A.S. and its subsidiary Avigen, S.R.O. from Trouw Nutrition Biofaktory S.R.O.
Hendrix Genetics (already owning 34% in Integra) has completed the acquisition of the majority shareholding of Trouw Nutrition Biofaktory in Integra in Zabcice, Czech Republic.
Hendrix Genetics acquires Joice and Hill Poultry Ltd.
The Shareholders of Joice and Hill have completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Joice and Hill by Hendrix Genetics. Hendrix Genetics held via its affiliate Institut de Sélection Animale B.V. already 40% of Joice and Hill.
25 Years of successful partnership between Las Clavellinas - Venezuela and ISA is sealed with signature of the contract during IPE - Atlanta 2010
Las Clavellinas, an affiliated company of PROAGRO’s Group of companies from Venezuela has been ISA client for 25 years, distributing our product ISA Brown. From scratch in 1985-1986 with our partner Las Clavellinas, was built the GP ISA Brown operation to produce ISA Brown PS for Venezuela and other countries.
