The correct conditioning of a feed compound for pelleting/extrusion is necessary in order to obtain a good pellet quality and an effective utilization of the pelleting/extrusion installation. Conditioning results in a desired activation of natural binders in feed ingredients by using: Heat – Moisture – Time. Andritz Feed & Biofuel provides conditioning equipment for high temperatures – up to 95 degrees. The Andritz Feed & Biofuel wide range of conditioners holds the CM conditioning line for regular steam conditioning, the CRT conditioning line operating on first-in first-out principle and the Feed Expanding line ensuring max temperature with minimum time.

 

Andritz Feed & Biofuel has yet expanded the conditioning product portfolio with a conditioner securing hygienic products from the very first production batch. The CM902PH conditioner has been adapted to achieve temperature parameters and dwell time necessary to ensure that any undesirable pathogens have been eliminated, and that no feed leaves the controlled thermal treatment (CM902PH) before meeting the set hygienic standards.
