Patrick Heering – managing director of Heering Holland – considers the focus on day old chick transport as a logical next step in his company’s further development. Heering: “We have many years of experience when it comes to the design, construction and maintenance of loading areas for trucks. The transport of day old chicks became a larger part of our activities. Our expertise grew. Customers increasingly asked our advice about topics like climate control and optimizing the animals’ condition before, during and after the transport. We decided to further specialize ourselves and we can now offer a wide variety of transport, service and training.”
Climate control
Heering: “We go further than the development and construction of a loading area. At VIV Europe 2010 we will show our new climate control module. The module enables transporters to monitor the day old chicks constantly during their transport. Monitoring is very simple and can be done 24/7 from behind the PC. We also offer training and education on day old chicks transport. We invite VIV Europe visitors to get acquainted with our transport solutions and the range of products and services on offer!”
Live demonstrations VIV Europe visitors will see Heering on several locations on the exhibition floor. Close to the East Entrance of the Jaarbeurs Utrecht venue a brand new Heering truck will be shown. In the truck, visitors can actually experience in which conditions the day old chicks are transported. “At our stand 7.C035 visitors can sign up for a live demonstration in the truck.” Demonstrations will be scheduled on each exhibition day. On Heering’s stand one can see how a transport and the loading area conditions can be monitored. “We will also advise on ventilation issues.”
