Since its founding in 1994, Agraplan Farmaca has become a leading company in the advice on and trade in veterinary medicines and feed supplements for the poultry sector. The composition of its products is based on years of experience from veterinarians and biochemists.

At VIV Europe 2010, Agraplan Farmaca will give extensive information and advice on 15 balanced natural products for poultry to be used worldwide. Use of natural veterinary products is the key behind the total range of the company. The animals’ condition and strengthening their resistance to disease form the basic principles in the development and application of Agraplan products. Preventing illness by administering natural veterinary medicines has proven to be nor only more effective and cost efficient, but also the way forward, as European legislation, guided by the customer, continuous to discourage the use of antibiotics and channelled veterinary medicines. Besides natural veterinary medicines, Agraplan Farmaca also develops balanced and high quality liquid supplementary animal feeds, to ensure that the animals can be kept in optimum conditions.

 
Agraplan Farmaca has a close cooperation with the Plantema Veterinary Centre. Each year, 100.000 dissections on poultry are being performed to get an insight in the diverse diseases of chicken and laying hens. These autopsies, combined with its own pharmacy, laboratory and the range of animal feed supplements, make Agraplan Farmaca unique in the world.
